Dead Baroque is the art & obsessions of designer, stylist, & multimedia artist French 75.
Her first rhinestoned skull was a valentine. She put her heart into that crystal encrusted canid, and there it stayed. Legend says you can still feel it beating in each bejeweled beast and bone. Inspired by vulture culture, hedonistic excess, and her sparkling squad of showgirl muses, French continues to adorn dead things as a way of quieting anxiety, facing mortality, and honoring the dead.
Every piece is hand embellished in San Francisco. Creatures are ethically sourced and cruelty-free. Sustainable materials used whenever possible.
